Location: Leeds

Job Title: Bench Technician

Based at: Yeadon

Reports to: Operations Manager

Hours: 37 hours per week
Usual working hours: Mon – Thurs: 9.00am – 5.30pm
Fri: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Salary: Pay Rate £12,000 - £14,000 per annum

Job Summary: To test, diagnose and complete repair work to a high quality standard on a
range of customer products including EPOS systems, PC’s, Touch Terminals and associated
assemblies.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• To carry out repair work as dictated by pre-determined work schedules as directed by the Team Leader and Operations Manager.
• To diagnose faults and perform a quality and cost effective repair.
• To follow and adhere to all the companies’ quality processes, test procedures and work instructions.
• Be capable of carrying out work in a group or as an individual as work dictates.
• To carry out a minimum level of production determined by the number of available hours and the type of equipment repaired.
• To maintain individual and general work areas, tools and test equipment in line with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
• To carry out routine and non routine activities as directed by Senior staff.
