An opportunity as arisen to work for one of Bradford’s most prestigious companies, with 100 years of experience in the manufacturing of packaging for the food industry. The prospect to work as a Machine operative in this well-established business could be yours, you will be required to the join the company on a Temporary basis initially with the view to going to Permanent after a successful period, with a start as early as 1st July 2019.

The Role

·         Operate machinery with Standard operating procedures

·         Adjust the machines parameters specific to each job

·         Load in the materials for production

·         Manufacturing products to customer specifications at optimum efficiency

·         Check the quality at the end of the production line

·         Reporting any machine faults to the line manager to reduce downtime and waste and to improve productivity levels.

·         Adhering to all Health & Safety aspects whilst operating the Machine

·         To ensure compliance with hygiene and housekeeping requirements

The Candidate

·         Must be available to work from 1st July 2019

·         Would need to be able to commit to a 12 hour shift pattern

·         Must have previous experience in a machine operative role

·         Would need to have a keen eye for detail

·         Numerate & literate (a high degree of accuracy is required for paperwork)

·         Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Working hours & Salary

Working to a Roster 3 days a week on 12 hour Shifts

Day Shift £8.21                  Monday – Saturday 6am – 6pm

Night Shift £9.03               Sunday – Friday 6pm – 6am
